  • Are all courses exclusive to Opticare Academy Members?

    Yes. Access to the online learning platform is an additional benefit for all members that is why most of the modules there are free.

  • Will I lose access to Opticare Academy should I fail to renew my membership with Opticare? How about my grades, earned certificates, and badges?

    Yes, your access will temporarily be suspended until you renew your Opticare membership again. Details about your current student account with Opticare Academy will be maintained, so you should be able to see them again once you regain your access.

  • What should I do if I am experiencing problems in my modules and training?

    Please contact your instructor. If they have provided their emails or other contact details and if you have been provided permission to contact them through those, please do so. You can also message them through the discussion board. Another alternative is by accomplishing the form on our Contact Us page.

  • What should I do if I am experiencing using the online learning platform?

  • In what format will the modules be?

    Modules and training programs may either be in these formats:

    • Video
    • Multimedia
    • Text
    • PDF
    • Audio
    • Narrated Presentations
    • Webinars and Live Streams
    • ADOBE Captivate, Articulate Storyline & HTML5
  • Can I transfer and share access with another person who is interested in the modules and training programs?

    No, you cannot. The materials found on the online learning platform are exclusive to active members only.

  • I didn't pass the assessment. Is there an option to retake it?

    In most cases you will be able to retake the assessment, but this will be prerogative of your instructor and type of assessment. Please discuss or confirm before you take an exam.

  • Can I save my learning progress and come back later?

    Most of the modules and training programs are designed to fit our members' busy schedule, which means you can study at your own pace. In most cases, you should be able to go back to your modules at your convenience. If the training program includes a video call or a webinar, those are live. Being unable to attend those means you cannot go back to them unless they have been recorded by the host or instructor. We will post this on the online learning platform if they are recorded.

  • How can I make use of the certificates and badges that I will receive after completing a module or program?

    Most of the time, the certificates are printable. Badges are images that you can upload on social media networks like LinkedIn. You can add them as well to your website, resume, and other digital and printed assets.
